| Dr. Denton Floss graduated from Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and physics. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania Dental College and graduated with a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1968. Graduating at the top of his class gained him entry into the University of Washington Graduate School of Dentistry where he completed a two-year post-graduate training program in dental anesthesia and sedation. Dr. Floss practiced in Phoenix, Arizona from 1970 to 2000, working in all aspects of general dentistry, with special interests in the areas of pain and anxiety control, the treatment of medically compromised patients and cosmetic dentistry. He worked closely with local dentists to give his patients the best care possible. Attending continuing education courses has kept Dr. Floss up to date on the latest techniques. He now teaches part time at the University of Arizona. His contributions to dental journals have led to many invited lectures and presentations. The focus of his practice now is to assist with the establishment of new dental offices, as well as helping existing offices improve their dental services. |
