Fill the grid so every row, column, and 3×3 box contains the numbers 1 to 9 only once.
Select and Enter Numbers
Click or tap a cell, then choose a number from the number pad or use your keyboard.
Notes Mode
Turn on Notes to place pencil marks instead of final answers.
Erase
Use Erase to clear the selected cell.
Check
Use Check to highlight correct entries in green and incorrect entries in red.
Clear Checks
Use Clear Checks to remove the red and green highlights and keep solving.
Reveal Answer
Use Reveal Answer to fill in the completed puzzle and show the full solution. This ends the game. The current Sudoku code for Easy, Medium, and Daily Sudoku Challenge includes a dedicated Reveal Answer button and revealed-state overlay behavior.
Timer
Use Start, Pause, and Reset to control the timer. The timer also starts automatically when you begin entering numbers.
Reset Puzzle
Use Reset Puzzle to clear the board and start over.
Progress Saving
Your progress saves automatically in your browser on the same device and browser.
Puzzle Complete
When you solve the puzzle, a success message appears with your puzzle number, time, and links to more puzzles and puzzle books.
